Phakama Records was born from a simple idea — that great music doesn’t need permission to exist. Founded by Alan Colonnetti, the label is a home for Afro House and Amapiano that carries both the pulse of the dancefloor and the spirit of African creativity.

We’re not here to chase trends. We’re here to tell stories through rhythm, to create moments that move people, and to give artists the space to be fearless with their sound. From the soulful depths of Afro House to the infectious swing of Amapiano, every release is crafted to travel far beyond where it started.

Our producers — GhostZWE, Mush Stringz, Josh Major, and Alan Colonnetti — are the architects of this sound. Each one brings a different voice, a different vision, but together they build something bigger than the sum of its parts.

Visuals matter to us as much as the music. Every artwork is designed in-house, created to feel like a piece of the track itself — something you can almost hear just by looking at it.
